** Students who have had an introductory course in European Union Law must take the course European Union Law Advanced. Students who have no background in European Union Law must take the course Introduction to European Law (2nd semester) plus write a substantive paper (4000 words). Note: students who have not completed a course in European Law and who are taking the course Introduction to European Law may not take an elective in EU Law during the first semester.
***Students must either take the course Human Rights in International Law or European Institutional and Constitutional Law, students are free to take both courses. Note: students who have not completed a course in European Law and who are taking the course Introduction to European Law may not take an elective in European Law during the first semester. They thus have to take the course Human Rights in International Law.
